Right next to the Aiguille du Midi peak, situated in a sea of mountains at an altitude of 3842m, stands proudly the legendary 50m high granite monolith Gendarme des Cosmiques. For the past 30 years it hosted only 2 climbing routes, Digital Crack (8a) and Arête des Cosmiques (8a), but this changed on the 10th of August 2022!

During his journey, that is in space but also within himself, the man spends the nights in a tent, immersed in unspoiled nature that welcomes and amplifies his tacit reflection on life and his goals. These are intense moments of solitude, with only the company of his loyal four-legged friend, his dog, who accompanies him wherever he goes.
Going beyond the challenge and the idea of a fame to be conquered, the man realizes that enter the legend is only a part of the real reward, that is the journey itself. He may feel that the moments spent with his dog and the pure experience of nature are the real treasures of life.
“Into the Legend” is a tribute to willpower and perseverance, the beauty of nature that surrounds us, and the value of friendship that elevates us.
The film is set on the west coast of Greenland during calendar winter. Two big-wall climbers Marcin Yeti Tomaszewski and Paweł Hałdaś plan to establish the first ever climbing route at this time of year. It is narrated by independent voices – an Inuit woman recalling her father, a reflective narrator describing the climbers’ presence among the frozen fjords, and the climbers themselves. The film does not present the technical aspects of the climb, nor does it chronicle it – instead it describes the inner lives of the characters, their reflections during the expedition. The title-character Inussuk is a type of sculpture created by the Inuit by arranging stones in such a way that their pile resembles a standing person. Inussuk has a practical significance – it serves as a signpost. Inussuk can also show the way through life, the way back home, fulfilling its mystical purpose.

On 10 August 2021, Peter Moser took on six of the main peaks in the Pale di San Martino mountains in a single day. He joined Fundacion Huilo Huilo to work as a park ranger and protect what ancestrally belongs to it. There, immersed in a magical place, their day-to-day life is full of learning and challenges focused to carry out an extremely important task: to protect the Huemul (from the mapuzugun wümul, Hippocamelus bisulcus).
This endemic and locally extinct species is slowly returning to its ancestral territories and its hope rests in Tralka, a re-introduced alpha male in whose hands lies part of the future of the species. Overcoming the challenges that each day brings is an arduous task, in which the connection between Tralka and his protectors is closer than it seems.
Except for mountain landscapes, magical rocks, and a few other kids, the village where Xiaohui lives with his grandfather and two cows has nothing to offer.
